OpenCart Integration
OpenCart SMTP
Free OpenCart extension by NeedEmail.com
Free SMTP by Need Email connects OpenCart's outgoing transactional email to NeedEmail using only an Email Address and Password. SMTP discovery, credential verification, and OpenCart mail configuration are all automatic, so there is no manual SMTP hostname, port, or security setup required.

Security
All NeedEmail API communication uses HTTPS with certificate verification. Credentials are never placed in URLs, JavaScript, logs, or query strings, and no arbitrary host or port scanning is performed. The extension only uses the NeedEmail endpoint returned by the authenticated discovery service.
OpenCart's native SMTP engine requires the password for ongoing transactional email, so the password is stored server-side in OpenCart's existing mail configuration and is never displayed after setup.
